Bupa Great North Run 2012 · 16 September 2012 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

On September 16th I will be doing the great north run for parkinsons uk in memory of my wonderful grandad Denny who passed away on the 2nd of february this year.

He was such a loving husband, dad, grandad and great grandad to all of us and we miss him so much.

He suffered from parkinsons for many years and by doing this run I hope to help other parkinsons sufferers and their families, knowing the impact it has had on our lives.

He really was the best grandad in the world and I want to make him proud.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. please help me to make him proud by donating to parkinsons uk :-)
