ICVI celebrated its 20th birthday in 2020 - twenty years of pioneering research into immunotherapy as a treatment for cancer. We have achieved so much but there is more to be done. Please donate to help us continue our vital work.

Story

Founded in 2000, the Institute of Cancer Vaccines and Immunotherapy is a unique charity which exclusively funds research into cancer immunotherapy and vaccines.

Principal, Professor Angus Dalgleish, Professor of Oncology at St George's University of London, has been a pioneer in this type of research for many years.  ICVI raises funds to support his research interests.  All research is directly informed by Professor Dalgleish's patients.  This unique dynamic enables the improvement of patient's survival rates and their quality of life for a wide range of cancers.  As members of the AMRC, the ICVI is bound by a rigorous peer review process to ensure that each project is scientifically viable.

In the last 23 years this charity has achieved a huge amount.  Professor Dalgleish and his research team have helped patients with many types of cancer, including melanoma, head and neck, pancreatic, breast, ovarian and prostate.
