Story

Hi Everyone! I am taking part in a challenge to Trek Mount Toubkal in Morocco, the highest mountain in the Atlas Mountains with a total height of 4,167m. To put this into perspective it is 4 x the height of Snowdon & Scafell Pike & 3 x the height of Ben Nevis and if you know me well it’s approximately 16405479 bottles of red wine stacked on top of each other!

Due to the physical intensity of the challenge it will need a serious commitment to training and a hell of a lot of willpower!

I’m doing the challenge to raise money for a really important charity which is Halton haven, those of you who live locally to me may have heard of the haven before but for those of you who don’t know Halton haven is a local hospice that support the community, providing specialist palliative care to those who are living with life limiting conditions or receiving end of life care in Halton, the hospice aims to relieve the sickness and suffering caused by cancer and other end of life conditions.

My lovely Nan received care at the hospice in her final months and I would just like to give back something to this amazing charity. I took a flier for the challenge one day in September when visiting my Nan I mentioned it to her and if I remember rightly we laughed when I said I could barely climb the stairs but I would love to do it! So here we are..

If you got this far thank you so much for reading and I hope you can support my journey!
