Volunteers at CLS have been providing emotional support for people who are struggling to cope for almost 70 years. Our volunteers are here around the clock, every single day of the year.

A little over a week ago by Nan sadly passed away. Jamie and I wanted a little challenge and had seen another charity doing run a 100k for the month of March. We wanted to do it for a charity that we had a link to so we chose the Samaritans. 

My Nan was a housewife however gave up her time to volunteer for the Samaritans in Bournemouth for a number of years. She worked answering the phone and often face to face with people who needed someone to talk to.  Some of her lifelong friends were met at the Samaritans so the charity itself meant a lot to her. 

Jamie and I intend to run 100k each and the plan is to do small amounts daily to fit around work and kids. 

We appreciate that there is always a charity fundraisers happening and you simply can’t donate to everything. If you haven’t donated in a while and can then we would greatly appreciate it.
