On 26th September I'll be running Hackney Half Marathon for Room to Heal. A grassroots organisation that offers support and refuge to people who have had to flee persecution, torture and indefinite detention.

This wonderful organisation's work is centred around a healing community through which individuals can start to overcome trauma. Room to Heal works therapeutically and offers casework support by offering physical and psychological therapy as well as practical assistance with housing, legal protection and related challenges.
