Story

Hi,

I'm Lucy Humphries and I am 9 years of age. In 2016 my Great-Granddad, Bill Walker, fell ill with cancer. He battled on with his treatment until the end of 2017, when he fell ill again.

In February 2018, he sadly passed away. The acceptance of his death was hard to take for everyone who knew him. My Great-Granddad was one of the kindest, most generous, funny and clever men on the earth.

Since he was such a pleasure to be around I'm going to thank him by raising money. To do this I am completing a 5k swim in 2 hours in his memory. So please help me and give generously.

His motto was never give up so I will never give up either !!
