Ben and Lucy's Rapha and Sue Ryder 26ClimbsChallenge · 26 April 2020

With fundraising events cancelled and no clear indication of when we can open our shops or how long it will take them to return to normal trading, Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice anticipate a funding gap of £1.5m for this financial year.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of the #twopointsixchallenge we are completing the Rapha #26ClimbsChallenge between April 26th and May 3rd. We will each cycle up Hangingstone road to the Cow and Calf 26 times to raise money for Manorlands Sue Ryder Hospice.

We were inspired by the Rapha #26ClimbsChallenge and have chosen to support a local hospice because of the fantastic work they do and the loss of funding due to cancelled events in these challenging times.

Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.
