Alice has decided she is going to swim a mile in memory of her Grandad Mike who is suffering from this horrific disease . It's incredibly hard telling an 8 year old that the Grandad Mike who used to look after her , make her laugh and play football will never ever be the same Grandad Mike . She's taken it all in with great maturity and is incredibly kind and considerate to him whenever we visit.
