On 8th September 2019, I will be walking 24K along the beautiful North Norfolk coastline starting in Cley and finishing at Holkham Hall in order to hopefully raise lots of money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.  

I am very excited to be taking part in TREK 24 to raise money for this incredible charity which exists to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region. The aim of this challenge is support a campaign for the charity to become a 24/7 service.  Currently, the East Anglian Air Ambulance operates out of two high-tech helicopters from 07:00 until 19:00 from their Norwich base and 07:00 until midnight from their Cambridge base.  On average it costs £3,500 for each mission the helicopter undertakes so as you can imagine the charity is heavily reliant on the community to keep their two helicopters flying and most importantly saving lives.
