This September, 24 volunteers will cycle from the most southern point of Ireland to the most northern point of the country to raise vital funds the IYF. Both of these points are marked by famous lighthouses signifying beacons of hope.
Story
This September Alan and I are cycling from Mizen Head in West Cork to Malin Head in Donegal in aid of the Irish Youth Foundation - the charity where I work. The Irish Youth Foundation is agrant making foundationdedicatedsolelyto meeting the needs of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. 100% of the donations we receive for this cycle will be channelled directly to a wide range of outstanding projects and organisations across the country that help give Ireland’s underrepresented young people the tools needed to reach their full potential in life. All funds raised for the Irish Youth Foundation come through donations from people like you who want to reverse the social and personal damage caused by poverty, educational disadvantage, homelessness and social exclusion, and are committed to working towards a fairer, more inclusive Ireland.
Thank you so much for supporting Alan and I on this cycle.

The Irish Youth Foundation is the only grant making foundation in the Republic of Ireland dedicated solely to meeting the needs of children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. We do this by supporting a wide range of outstanding projects and organisations across the country.
