Annabelle and Lottie's Tri Challenge · 22 April 2018

Daisy’s Dream provides free of charge, professional support to children & families who are facing, or have experienced, the death of someone they love. Working across Berkshire, we offer a flexible range of services to help families move forward in a positive way.

Story

I am Annabelle and my best friend is Lottie. We are 9 years old and we have been best friends since we were 3.

My daddy, Paul Wilson, sadly died on 12 May 2017 at the age of 41. This year has been really difficult for me and my family. Daisy's Dream has massively helped me and my sisters by coming to our school regularly to support us and by giving us a boost of confidence. They are always there for us and give us someone comforting to talk to.

As a way of thanking Daisy's Dream, Lottie and I decided we wanted to do something to raise money for them and raise awareness for the fantastic work they do in helping families like mine.

We are both quite sporty and quite competitive too! So, we thought we would do a challenge that involves running, cycling and swimming. On 22 April, we are going to cycle 5km around Greenham Common, then run 3km from Greenham Common to Nuffield Health and Fitness and finally  swim for 200 metres. We are going to try and complete this challenge without stopping (except to get changed for swimming!)

We would be so happy if you would like to support our Tri Challenge by donating to Daisy's Dream. Thank you!!
