Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page..

This year sees me reach the big 50, which for me felt like a perfect excuse  to set myself a challenge. What better way to see in my 5th decade than combining two  of my favourite things, the great outdoors and a sunrise. On 8th July, Joe and I will set out to climb Snowdon through the night, reaching the summit for sunrise. 

I will be undertaking this challenge on behalf of The Ostrich Foundation, which works with and supports other charities and NHS agencies in helping to reduce the number of young people  who take their own lives. Being a parent of two young men myself and seeing the shocking statistics around suicide in this age group, it is a cause close to my heart.
