Hello lovely people, don’t know whether to laugh or cry but secured a place for the second year in a row for the Great North Run, this years place being a charity place on behalf of Herriot Hospice who cared for my beloved Grandma in her final days back in 2010 when she was 67 years old. Having experienced hospice care recently in Cyprus it’s made me realise just how much small charities like Herriot hospice rely on donations to keep running and enhancing the lives of the patients and family’s they care for . So here goes... starting training earlier than last year in the hope of keeping any injuries at bay. Here’s to hopefully raising a lot of money for a diamond of a charity :) all jokes aside the memories of last years run will forever stay with me. I can’t wait  to hopefully experience the same feeling of relief and elation crossing that finishing line :). It was truly an amazing experience and I am looking forward to the challenge again :) xx
