Story

Many will know our story and what 40by40
For Grief Encounter is about. We are doing 40 different events by what would have been my darling husband Viv's 40th. He died suddenly in 2015 aged 36 when our youngest Marni was just 9 months old. ( all our adventures are on FB page 40by40 for Grief Encounter)

I am now taking on my latest and toughest challenge so far- Hever Castle triathalon and then the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2 weeks later and want to raise as much as we can for the Grenfell Trauma Appeal ( by Grief Encounter). Leila will be doing the kids triathalon too.

Grief Encounter have been supporting our family for the past 2 years and have been pivotal in helping us rebuild our lives.

Since June they have been at the heart of supporting the families and children affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy and we wanted to do these events for this specific appeal. It is a tragedy that is still unfolding and there are many many families who will be affected for years to come.

Please show your support and any donation, however small will make a big impact.
