Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 24th August, Alison Kemp and Lucy Sheppard are swimming the Solent sea crossing which is 4-5kms from Stokes Bay, near Portsmouth, to Ryde on the Isle of Wight, in support of Aspire, the spinal injury charity.

Last year Alison’s schoolfriend’s daughter, Ruth, had a terrible cycling
accident, breaking her back and putting her in a wheelchair. We want to raise
as much money as we can to help Ruth and all the other people who suffer such
life-changing injuries.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
