Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023 · 8 October 2023 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dad was diagnosed with MND in March 2022. It is a horrific, debilitating disease which affected all aspects of Dad’s life. He suffered mentally and physically, losing his mobility, dignity and reason for living. He spent his final days under the amazing care of St Michael’s Hospice who made him feel safe and loved. He has left a huge void in our lives and we miss him so much.

Michelle and I are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 8 October to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who gave both Mum and Dad so much guidance, advice and support. Michelle is currently injured and awaiting physio but is determined to finish the course one way or another!  If you are able to donate to help us reach our target we would be very grateful.
