Battle of the Badges 2019 - Team Fire · 22 June 2019 ·
Lucy was born with an Adrenal Insufficiency which is a chronic, life threatening medical condition. She is on 4x daily medications for her whole life and has had countless appointments and admissions to the Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital, and will continue to do so as her body is unable to deal with illness or injury.
Hospital admissions can be so very distressing.. and whilst the NHS provide their wonderful medical care, the Archie Foundation fund the extras that make a difference to a childs visit to hospital. They provide the wonderfully child friendly environment, the specialist equipment, the support, and just so much more.
We have nothing but gratitude to Archie and want to support and try to give back to them via Lucys involvement in Battle of the Badges.
