Dear All!

Many thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In the summer of 2009 twelve students from the University of Exeter, including myself, will be travelling to Thailand to undertake a sponsored trek through Laos, Cambodia, ending in Vietnam. During our trek we will be attempting to use as many different modes of transport as possible, buses, mopeds, trains, cars, planes and elephants! On arriving in Vietnam we will then spend just over two weeks working in an orphanage, giving English lessons and building the school library.

Each student has been assigned the task of raising £1,000 for our chosen charity Health Unlimited before they leave the UK. 100% of this money goes directly to the charity. All subsequent costs of the trip are being funded privately. The Great West Run, (13.1miles) is one event of many in which I am participating over the coming months in order to raise the above figure.
