Fundraising for Gloucester City Mission
£237
raised of £100 target

We are looking to get as many people across the City sleeping out over the weekend that marks World Homeless Day (10th October). We are looking for Companies, Churches, Schools, Individuals, Families or Organisations to sleep rough for a night.

Story

On the evening of Saturday 8th October I will be joining people from across Gloucester to take part in The Gloucester City Mission Big City Sleepover 2022 which marks World Homeless Day on 10th October. I will be spending one night in a shop doorway in the Eastgate Shopping Centre to experience the sights, sounds and feelings of sleeping rough.

On average it costs over £18k per month to operate Gloucester City Mission and they still rely purely on donations, fundraising and grants.  On top of that it costs them £34,000 to run the winter shelter each year.
