I think I may have had 1 too many jäger bombs when I decided this...but I will be running 4 Half Marathons in 2020 to raise as much money as possible for Russell’s Hall Hospital in memory of my Grandad who has recently passed away.

During his later years my Grandad visited Russell’s Hall hospital for various reasons, so much so that that it became a running joke that he preferred their food and facilities. 

My grandad enjoyed Russell’s Hall sleepovers for his 2 heart attacks, a triple heart bypass and was diagnosed Pulmonary Lung Fibrosis on Valentines Day 2017 and was given 2 weeks to live. Lucky for us he went on till 7th January this year, pretty impressive! 

The staff have always provided him quick and effective care and have put up with the family using their meeting rooms to accommodate us visiting him.

Chillington Half Marathon - 6th June

Disney Paris Half Marathon - 25th September

Birmingham Half Marathon - 11th October

Final Half Marathon - TBC
