Here's the soppy stuff. As a children's nurse I have seen, and will be yet to see, too many children and their families suffer the hell that cancer brings. Some have made it, and some haven't. Even one loss of life is one too many. The race to beat cancer is an uphill struggle and I am keen to make any contribution I can to help. To some this is a walk in the park, to me it will be a real challenge but no amount of hard work, sweat and tears matches the struggle of those fighting cancer every day.
