I will be walking 58km (36miles) on the Jurassic Coast (1600 metres elevation) in one day! 🤪 My hope is to raise money that can go towards continued funding to support resettlement of Syrian refugee families. 💙 

We are a group of friends who are part of the Welcome community in Falmouth and Penryn. We have decided that walking to raise money is a good symbol of solidarity with the refugees we help, many of whom, young and old, have had to flee their homes by foot. Falmouth and Penryn have already welcomed two wonderful families from Syria and we intend to continue being able to welcome families through the governments Community Sponsorship programme. To welcome a family we need to prove to the Home Office that we have sufficient funds - a minimum of £9,000. We hope this walk will help us raise enough for another application.
