Story

Hello! I’m Lucy, a Mum of three wonderful boys and a qualified personal trainer. I’m currently on maternity leave after having my third baby 7 months ago.

I have an Instagram page @lucymarnerfitness where I post healthy recipes, free fitness workouts and as of recently hold free, live workouts aimed at Pre & Postnatal women, to help them stay fit and healthy in mind and body in their pre&postnatal journeys.

With that said, I thought it would be amazing to raise money for a local charity that I hold close to my heart, by providing these live workouts in exchange for a donation to this wonderful charity!

Even if you don’t want to participate in the live classes, and you’ve been directed to this page because you’d like to donate, big or small, any change you have, then I know the charity and all those families in need would be a massively appreciative.

Thank you so much for your support, and please read below to find out more about this charity and what they do for vulnerable families in need:

A Healthy Home for Every Child is a joint initiative between Bromley-based charities Bromley Brighter Beginnings (BBB) and Bromley Relief In Need (BRIN) to improve the lives of children living in poverty in the London Borough of Bromley.

The two registered charities have joined forces to ensure parents and carers have the facilities they need within their own homes to be able to provide healthy, nutritious meals for the children in their care.

The project was conceived following the End Child Food Poverty campaign, spearheaded by footballer Marcus Rashford. It is the joint belief of the two charities that providing food to children in need is absolutely essential, but that without the correct facilities to store or cook that food then it may not provide all the benefits that are hoped for.

The charities therefore decided to come together to provide appliances such as cookers, fridges, freezers, microwaves, slow cookers and kettles for local families in need.

Any donations big or small will make such a difference to helping this wonderful charity.

Thank you so much for your donation!

About the campaign

We provide parents and carers in low-income households with basic kitchen appliances to enable them to store and prepare perishable food and provide the children in their care with healthy, nourishing meals.

About the charity

We distribute prams, clothes, highchairs, nappies and toiletries to families in need living in the London Borough of Bromley. Most of our items are donated by local parents. Families, many of whom are fleeing domestic violence, are referred to our service by health professionals in the area.
