GroceryAid is the charity that helps people across the whole of the grocery industry. GroceryAid currently helps thousands of grocery people financially and through the 24/7 freephone Helpline and will spend up to £4.7M on welfare support this year. Find out more at www.groceryaid.org.uk

Story

Every year, the Mondelez graduates take part in a rowing race at Lake Windermere in order to raise money for GroceryAid, a charity which focuses on providing financial and emotional support for those in need in the Grocery Industry. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 restrictions the race has been cancelled, however, our team has been committed to finding alternative ways of fundraising: a 275mile run/walk/cycle (1 mile for every MDLZ colleague supported by grocery aid in 2020) tackled as a group on week commencing May 3rd.

Instead of running, I have decided to do something a bit different and  'skip' the equivalent of a half marathon by doing one jump for every meter (21097.5 to be precise). Whilst skipping has become my new hobby and I love it, 21000 skips will certainly be a challenge...and quite frankly I'm a bit scared already!

If you could please donate anything you can to this amazing cause the team and I would really appreciate it!
