For the 7th year in a row I am running the Race for Life. For the past few years I have done this with my mum and all of the females in Sammy's family - together making 'Generation Girls' (see what we did there?!). 

This year Maureen and Anna cannot join us however me, mum, Sammy's mum Sarah and his sister Jess have decided to walk/jog/run 10k in Stamford!! I would say an 'average' amount of training has been conducted, and your donations really will make a difference and spur us on when the lactic acid starts to burn! 

Unfortunately so many of us are affected by cancer, and it is for that reason that I am determined to run this race every year I can, and to raise the funds needed to stick two fingers up to the bastard (excuse my language) that is cancer.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
