Story
I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my amazing mum, Rachel, who sadly passed away in August 2022 following a four year battle with breast cancer.
My mum was an inspiration to others, and she was loved by all those who knew her. She is remembered by her friends and family for her kindness, bravery, and ability to effortlessly make us laugh!
Her determination and perseverance were second to none, and something I hope to emulate during my training and on the day itself.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes. Breast Cancer Now help to change the lives of those affected by breast cancer through both research and support. Breast cancer impacts individuals and their loved ones profoundly, and so the helpline, health information, and support services delivered by Breast Cancer Now are incredibly important.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated, and will help Breast Cancer Now to continue their work to positively impact the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
I am so proud to run my half-marathon for this charity, to fundraise for such a vital cause, and to run in memory of my mum.
