The Amazon Ultra Virtual Challenge replicates the trail through the Amazon Rainforest, starting from the city of Manaus in Brazil to Novo Aripuanã (and the way back to complete the 460 KM). This challenge was set to raise funds for rainforest protection by purchasing 2,523-acre parcel where the parrot Santarem Parakeet and a variety of species inhabit.

I completed the first 230 KM distance by running in December 2020, and I completed the second 230 KM in February 2021. However, you can still donate and Rainforest Trust UK will keep receiving the money. For every £1 you donate to support biodiversity in Brazil, a generous supporter will give £3 more, meaning that your donation will have a quadruple impact!

El Amazon Ultra Virtual Challenge replica el trail a través del Amazonas comenzando en la ciudad de Manaos en Brasil, terminando en Novo Aripuanã (y la ruta de vuelta para completar los 460 KM). Con este challenge se busca recaudar fondos para la protección de la selva, al adquirir una parcela de 2,523 acres donde habitan el perico Santarem Parakeet y diversas especies. 

Completé los primeros 230 KM corriendo en diciembre 2020, y los siguientes 230 KM en febrero 2021. Sin embargo, aún se pueden realizar donaciones y Rainforest Trust UK las seguirá recibiendo. Por cada £1 donada para apoyar a la biodiversidad en Brasil, un generoso auspiciador dará £3 más.
