Kiran and I love a challenge and Tough Mudder seemed like a great way to push us to our limits. And we are only little :) 

I am doing this to raise awareness for Endometriosis, it is a disease that affects 1 in 10 woman in the UK alone. I am one of them classed as stage 4 and I have been suffering for nearly 10 years now. I have undergone several operations with no real ease in my symptoms. It took over 3 years for me to even get diagnosed as GPs didn't understand what was going on with my body. Even now there is no true "cure" for this condition which is very scary. 

Endometriosis UK uses the money raised to build awareness and help women and girls getting diagnosed earlier as well as finding a cause/cure. 

Endometriosis has an immense effect on your body and your physical and metal abilities, some women end up in wheelchairs unable to work. It can have a huge impact on your work and school but many women are too afraid to talk. The symptoms are often misdiagnosed as it often gets put down to hormone imbalances or period pains and often isn't taken very seriously at all. 

I am doing this with the help of Kiran who has supported me through some very rough times. 

I am doing this to make people aware that it is OK to talk about symptoms and effects on the body. 

I am doing this to help and support women who don't have the strength to stand and do it themselves. 

I am also doing this for myself to show that I can go on even with the dark days and I will not be defeated or give up finding ways to make symptoms better. And to raise awareness to help other women be diagnosed quicker.
