On the 9th of October I will be undertaking an 8 hour expedition up Mt. Teide, the 3rd highest volcano in the world from base to summit. I am doing this to raise money and awareness for the Coral Reef Alliance. This NGO works in educating and funding restoration and protection projects around the globe. The charity works in implementing MPAs and legislation to ensure these beautiful natural coral reefs dont diminish along with your fish and chips.

The Fair Earth Foundation CIO, a registered UK charity, runs in the first week of every month a special challenge to climb Mt Teide, the third highest volcano in the world. This is a gruelling, arduous challenge but the view at night of the stars and the breaking dawn over the magnificent crater make it consistently the single best experience of our volunteers in Tenerife over the last thirty years- thousands have taken up the challenge!!
