Story
Last year I ran my 1st Ultramarathon 36 miles around Guernsey 🇬🇬 for Alzheimer’s Society.I chose this charity as my mother in law Peggs had been fighting dementia for a number of years and unfortunately she passed a few months after. I decided to continue to raise money for this great charity as millions of people of all ages are effected by this disease and obviously Peggy will be close to my heart during the run ❤️ I have seen this event last year and love the route as it cuts through my favourite running area and this time my friends and family can be more involved.it starts just south of Salisbury and heads south towards Blandford then directly towards Wareham winding past the ancient corfe castle to Chapmans Pool nr the Jurassic coast just over 56 miles distance 😮 Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
