Lukey, why should we part with our hard earn pennies just because you will endure 7hrs (hopefully) of pain?" I am glad you asked, CMV Action is a cause that desperately needs funding as the virus sits largely under the publics radar whilst affecting thousands of families every year. 

CMV Action is close to mine and my families heart as my beautiful niece suffers from the virus, the long term affects are currently unknown but she will face huge challenges in her life that those more fortunate will not. Orla's parents and big brothers are the most amazing people that will provide her all the happiness in the World but we can reduce the risk of this affecting others. 

Do not panic, I am not getting off Scott free, I will be heading to Portugal at the end of the month to TRY and complete the Ironman 70.3 - swim 2km, cycle 90km then a half marathon for dessert. I have trained hard and will have no excuses on the day and of course all event costs have been personally covered.
