Coeur Blanc Challenge · 15 March 2014
On 15 March 2014, our team will take on one of the most exhilarating and intense ski challenges to raise money in aid of Greenhouse Charity. Completing a full journey on all 52 lifts within the Méribel Vallée during the course of a single day, our team will complete a lift every 9 minutes followed by a descent of over 15,000 metres – or just short of two Mount Everests!
Although this challenge will be exciting and entertaining, we have one real purpose for taking part in Coeur Blanc 2014 and that is to raise sponsorship! With a minimum target of £6,000, this money will be used to support Greenhouse’s helping to expand their program in to new schools and change more lives for the better.
Greenhouse empowers young people in London’s most disadvantaged communities to realise their potential through high quality, intensive sports programmes delivered by inspirational coaches. By working full time in schools and in the community Greenhouse coaches develop strong relationships with the young people. They help them to improve their health and fitness whilst mentoring them to improve their engagement with their education and community.
