I'm a metalhead to my core, from Faith No More through to Morbid Angel and beyond. I also trained as an actor at East 15 School Of Acting. It's fair to say that in these two worlds I've met plenty of people that could be described as living alternative lifestyles, many wonderful people who I feel lucky to call my friends.

There is more than enough room in the world for people of all backgrounds and I was sickened and saddened when the news was reported about the tragic death of Sophie Lancaster and the assault on her boyfriend Robert Maltby.

I've long admired the work the Foundation carries out, through education they are building a lasting legacy to Sophie by challenging stereotypes and promoting tolerance, acceptance and understanding of alternative lifestyle choices.

So, on the 15th of June I will be taking part in a radio marathon. Alongside two other presenters I will go on air at 7pm, I will then stay on air for 24 hours until 7pm on June 16th. My show is usually metal and I'll endeavour to play as much as I can, however as I'm trying to promote variety we'll have a nice range of music.
