This September I have decided to run the Berlin Marathon in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer. Prostate Cancer UK should be a charity close to every man’s heart because we know, or we should know, just how vulnerable we are. One in eight men will get prostate cancer, that’s one in four if you’re black, It’s a scary thought, so hopefully your donations can help me help to fund the research to prevent this cancer being terminal. 

I am doing to both raise awareness and fundraise for this charity, and to give myself a challenge and a goal to achieve in 2018, after an underwhelming couple of years personally, it will be good to have something to shout about!
