Jeremiah’s Journey, provides compassionate support & guidance to children, families & adults bereaved as children, who are navigating the difficult journey of grief. In offering support services & promoting awareness, we aim to be a beacon of light in the darkest moments. My grief, My way.

Story

After being inspired by watching "14 Peaks" on Netflix; to get off the sofa in the workshops restroom and do something other than eat Kit Kat's and drink coffee we decided to embark on taking on the Welsh 3000 Challenge.

The Welsh 3000 is a well known and arduous challenge in which you must hike to the top of all 15 peaks in Wales that are over 3000ft in height and it must be done all within a 24 hour time limit to be successful.

The group of four of us are all serving Royal Marine's but don't let that fool you, this is not going to be an easy day out on the hill by any stretch of the imagination. It will be very long and tough day, beginning at the crack of dawn and continue through into the night but we are confident that we will just be able to "crack it on the day".

We wanted to make sure that it would be a local Plymouth charity that we raised money for and we all came to the decision that it would be Jeremiah's Journey that the fundraiser would be set up for.

Jeremiah's Journey is a wonderful charity that has been operating since 1996 and helps bereaved Children, Young People and their Parents/Guardians after the loss of someone significantly close to them.

They really are making a difference to people lives and we hope that for one day of suffering on a hill in Wales, that with your donations we can help them keep doing the fantastic job that they are already doing.
