Event: Purple Wave 2023 in the Great Manchester Run, from 1 March 2023 to 21 May 2023
One in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. Here at Manchester, we're tackling the disease from all angles. Help us deliver life-saving research in Manchester's brand-new cancer research centre.

Story

Hi everyone! I will be running the Manchester Purple Wave half-marathon in memory of my two late Grandfathers, Eddie and Keith.

Both Eddie and Keith were taken by cancer which a sad reality for many around the world. Therefore, this run will be done in support of Cancer Research UK and the amazing work they do here in Manchester. I really appreciate any donations that helps to support the great cause.

Please donate what you can and also importantly share this around it only takes your time!!!

Thanks everyone.
