Story

THE GREAT RIDGE CHALLENGE (PEAK DISTRICT) – 24TH JUNE 202

Luke, Chris and Gregg ( 3 members of the Bills Restaurants operations team) will join the Brown Dog team and many amazing
challengers to complete a 24-mile hike in the beautiful Peak District. Starting at Ladybower Reservoir, walking along the Derwent River to Hope Valley and into Castleton, where we then climb Cave Dale and up Mam Tor, crossing the Great ridge, into Hope and over Win Hill onto Toadhole Cote and Alport Castles before heading back to Ladybower.

All 2023 proceeds will enable Brown Dog to purchase, A NEW
VITAL ULTRASOUND MACHINE for the Leicester Royal Infirmary Head and Neck Cancer
clinic and more.

With over 200 different types of cancer and one in two people likely to get cancer Brown Dog aims to make a difference that will help improve the detection rates and improve the lives of those diagnosed with cancer. Since 2020, we have undertaken challenges and fund raising events to raise funds towards helping those who are diagnosed with cancer. The funds are used to finance projects where funding is not available via the NHS or other public bodies. To date we have raised over £600,000, helping 85 projects.
