Story

Hello you lovely person who has taken the time to visit my page, your bulging pockets full of money ready to donate is more than welcome here! Please read my story and donate if you feel the urge! :D

After seeing my brother take on the UK Ironman in 2013, I have decided to embark on this journey of self motivation and test my body to the extreme limit.

My choice of charity is motivated by a close family experience of prostate cancer. My grandad, diagnosed approximately 5 years ago, thankfully reacted well to treatment and survived, however the experience is one that many millions of people go through, something that cancer research UK are constantly working to make easier as well as fighting to beat cancer at source by funding research to find a cure.

Motivation to support this charity, for me, is also found in science. I am, ofcourse, an amazing scientist and I am currently researching cancer therapeutics at Southampton University within the Tavasolli reserach group at an undergraduate level. This research has previously been and is currently funded by cancer research UK itself and hence Cancer research's positive work is something I have seen first hand.

It seems fitting to dedicate a huge personal challenge to a charity helping millions of people deal with an even bigger personal challenge themselves and it would be AMAZING if you could donate to help me, help others.

P.s. I will be updating this page with pictures of me in tight lycra sportswear, if you look, you must donate :D
