We are radically advancing research to achieve a life free from epilepsy

Story

I decided to run the 2016 Brighton Marathon to raise money for Epilepsy Research UK after someone close to me was diagnosed with this intrusive condition.

Epilepsy affects 1% of the global population, and I was shocked to find out that one third of those diagnosed don't respond to the medication currently available.

This will be the biggest challenge I have attempted, both in terms of the distance and my fundraising target. Through training individually and with GoodGym (a running group devoted to making positive change within communities), and with your support, I hope to make it over the line on both fronts.

You can follow my online training blog via this link: https://fitforpurpose2016.wordpress.com/ and sponsor my run through this safe and secure JustGiving page.

Thank you!
