On 25th September we are going to run, walk, cycle and scoot as a family around Cooper River Lake in Pennsauken, NJ doing 5K each to raise money to launch Urban Promise UK's Street Leader Programme.

Last year we moved to Camden, NJ to join the UrbanPromise International's fellowship programme. Now that we have been approved as a UPI affiliate we are preparing to return to London in 2022 to launch and run Urban Promise UK.

Urban Promise's approach to child and youth development is built on entrusting young people as leaders for the next generation, providing them with skills that will help transform their own lives and those in their local community. This includes academic support, mentoring, enrichment, and job skills training. Street Leaders are employed to help run after school activities for primary school aged children as well as receiving this support themselves.
