Hey guys!
On May 5 2013, my family and I received the devastating news that whilst working abroad, my Dad had suffered a heart attack. Despite their best efforts, medics were unable to save him and my family have had to deal with a major loss. I never thought that I'd lose my Dad so early in life, and I wasn't prepared to deal with it. This year has been a really tough year for both myself, and the rest of my family. The friends and family my Dad left behind have really felt his absence, and he is missed by so many.
In his memory, my cousin - Zoe Morrice - and I have decided to run the February 2014 Brighton Half Marathon in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Hopefully the money that we raise can save someone elses life, and another family will be spared the immeasurable loss that my family have had to face.
If you're able to donate to our cause, please do! No matter how big or small, every little helps. Donations will be appreciated massively by myself, my family, the British Heart Foundation and anyone who's life has been saved by the charity.
Help me create something positive from such a negative event.
I miss you Dad, and I hope you're proud of what we're doing.
