Story

Dear Friends,

We are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September!!! And we are asking you for a small contribution to a great cause!

First, let’s share with you a little story!

A few years ago in 2008, our little Layanne (Lulu) was born into this world too prematurely, 4 months earlier than her due date, and weighing only 500gms or 1lb!!

Over the years, she has faced difficulties in her development, however she has always faced the world with a big, beautiful, infectious smile!

Today, she continues to grow and amaze everyone around her. She is a happy 7 year old, full of life and happiness, and she provides an amazing sense of wonder to all those that meet her.

This year and to celebrate Lulu, and to contribute to children with special needs, we have decided to take on Mount Kilimanjaro! Ahmad and Mohannad will be conquering the mountain in September 2015, and we are already hard at work preparing for this challenge!

The cost of the trip will be covered by personal expenses. Your donations will be used to help more children with special needs ranging from autism, cerebral palsy and other developmental needs. Thanks to everyone who has already donated from Team Lulu!

It is a great endeavor, but will be a small feat in comparison to the strength, patience and endurance that Lulu has taught us over the years.
