The HART Special Fund
Campaign by H.A.R.T. (RCN 1042403)
The funds raised for the Special Fund are used totally for the direct benefit of HIV positive people in Hillingdon. They enable HART to provide complementary therapies and give small hardship grants.

Story

Gavin and I are raising funds again for HART’s Special Fund. On Saturday 28th October 2017 we will cycle from Hayes to Camden Town on the Paddington Arm. All the funds raised will go to the Special Fund, which directly benefits the clients, providing therapies, social events and support direct to clients at times of hardship. The funds raised will not be used for salaries, overheads or general running costs.

Gavin and I did a similar fund raising bike ride on 1st April 2017 between from Hayes and London Paddington, which totalled 28 miles.

HIV Aids is a cause very close to both our hearts, and we cycle in support of HART which is working towards a world where the incidence of HIV is reduced, it is simply a manageable health condition, with no associated stigma and people are empowered to manage their own lives.

We are both excited and looking forward to the challenge of a longer ride and again we hope it will be a bright, dry, and puncture-free day.
