Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been cajoled/hoodwinked/bullied into participating in this fantastic charity event by a friend and member of the orchestra who promises that I will enjoy it.  It will be the first time in 25 years that I have played in a public concert and the first time (ever) that I have conducted an orchestra.  Fortunately, the above mentioned friend has agreed to share in the inevitable embarrassment - as he will be conducting / playing whilst I am playing / conducting!  I hope my colleagues, friends and family will give generously for this very worthwhile cause, as I strongly suspect that I will never be doing this again (at least not the baton wielding bit anyway!).

Please click on the link above to find out more about the Macmillan charity "play-in" concert.  Frivolity aside, this is an important charity fundraising event and I hope you will give generously. Thanks in advance!
