London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

Hundreds of runners will be taking part in the London Marathon 2020 to raise funds for St John Ambulance, the charity that picks you up, dusts you down and gets you over the finish line.

Story

St. John Ambulance is the nation’s leading first aid charity.

Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through their training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people

Lydia’s son Thomas is the Cadet leader for the Cheltenham St. John Ambulance unit. He was mentored by Nita Sexton who was the Regional Youth Manager for the west region of St. John. Last year, Nita sadly passed away. She had dedicated her life to the NHS and St. John Ambulance to give children and young adults the opportunity to learn amazing life and leadership skills.

Lydia and I will run this race in her memory.
