Vitality London 10,000 2016 · 30 May 2016 ·

Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Next May I will be swapping the pub for the running track, running the Bupa 10,000 to raise money for Beat. Beat is the leading UK eating disorder charity, and is working towards changing the way people see eating disorders and improving the treatment provided in the UK.

This is a cause close to my heart and I am raising money to help Beat with their campaign to reduce treatment waiting times (it's not uncommon to wait over a year for treatment) and help all sufferers to believe that they can beat their illness. There is a huge stigma attached to mental illnesses and by supporting Beat I hope to contribute to changing this.

Please donate what you can - every penny counts :).
