Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

Myeloma is an incurable blood cancer originating in the bone marrow.

I know that Myeloma UK provides a wealth of support and information for patients and their families, as I made good use of the resources when my mother, Margo, was affected by the condition.

Steve Tillett, a golfing friend, was recently diagnosed with Myeloma.

Steve has been involved in motorsport, particularly karting, since the 1980's.  Tillett Racing Seats and rib protectors have been used by a who's who of the F1 motor racing elite through their karting years:  Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen, Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen...

My half-marathon around Silverstone could be the slowest time a Tillett Racing Seats logo has ever travelled the circuit !

Steve utilised his skills and experience in making body protection for drivers (see the photo of Lewis Hamilton in Steve's hands below) to create his own body brace, providing protection for his bones during treatment. And he wears it on the outside - just like Superman !

Please wish me luck, and make your donation now !

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in support of Myeloma UK.
