Story
When 5 year old Lydia heard about The Little Princess Trust, she asked her mummy if she could send her hair to them, so they could make it into a wig for children who have lost theirs.
Lydia is excited to cut her hair short and send it to charity, so her parents helped her set up a fundraising page to see if they could help her do more than just send her hair.
Lydia initially decided she would like to try to raise £1million, but her parents decided £200 would be a great start!
£5 will pay for the postage of a wig.
£150 will pay for the wig fitting and styling.
£550 is the total cost of providing a young person with a wig.
The Little Princess Trust: "When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families."
Thank you.
