Story

The Sickle Cell Society is the only national charity in the UK that supports and represents people affected by a sickle cell disorder to improve their overall quality of life. First set up as a registered charity in 1979, the Sickle Cell Society has been working alongside health care professionals, parents, and people living with sickle cell to raise awareness of the disorder. The Societys aim is to support those living with sickle cell, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

To challenge myself but also raise money for a fantastic charity and condition that I feel doesn’t get enough recognition, I am walking 100km over two days in the Lake District as part of their Ultimate challenge in the region! This will be hard and will require lots of training and hard work but I know it will be worth it, not just for me but for the Sickle cell society and all the fantastic work they do

Love, good energy and donations would be much appreciated 🙏🏾♥️

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, let me know x

Lots of love,

Lydia
