Since the 2005 earthquakes we have been the UK’s primary charity working exclusively on healthcare initiatives in Pakistan for those in most desperate need. Together we supply clean water to rural areas, fund medical qualifications, work to halt the spread of hepatitis & provide emergency aid.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are taking on Tough Mudder to raise funds and awareness for a charity very close to our heart: Medical Aid to Pakistan.

UKMAP was established following the 2005 earthquakes in Pakistan which devastated the lives of thousands.
Vulnerable families are still suffering, with 50% of Pakistanis having no access to clean drinking water. As a result, infants are developing water-borne diseases every day.

Clean drinking water is something that we all take for granted, but it is a basic need that NO individual should be without.

£5,000 helps Medical Aid to provide one village with a permanent water filtration unit, giving thousands of people access to clean water.

UKMAP also funds tuition for students; just £500 sponsors a medical student for a year, enabling individuals and communities to benefit from much needed medical experience.

Please donate whatever you can to help families in desperate need - every penny makes a difference.

Head over to www.medicalaid.org.uk for more information.

Thank you

(PS wish us luck!!)
